I’m not sure it’s a bag, so much as tapered black sides on her dress.
As for the store cards, the newspapers are hardly innocent on this. I sure my parents get their names and details sold to many a PR firm from their Torygraph subscription, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the DM had a similar rouse operating.
